The Villa in Lavinia is a family owned and run hotel in residential Mount Lavinia. We pride ourselves on offering locals and travellers alike a comfortable and restful stay at affordable rates.
The house is a beautifully restored family home with high ceilings, traditional Sri Lankan red cement floors and wood finishings. Its open plan, typical of Sri Lankan architecture, encourages the flow of air and light and keeps the Villa cool and bright.
Each of our ten rooms is tastefully decorated with heirloom handlooms from our ancestral family business, ED Nathanielsz Handlooms.

Sustainable
When renovating we kept as many of the original trees as we could. Star fruit, king coconut and mango still fruit in the garden.
